Moira Makenzie is a hilarious and endearing physic medium. Her character has so much depth and heart, and her quick and gentle wit brought so much joy – especially for those lucky enough to take a seat aat her table to have their fortunes told.
To elevate the performance and bring the intimacy it was used to created this theatrical booth. An interpretation of a mediums warm and mystical tent, while being open to an audience of hundreds.
We wanted to bring the magic of this iconic satirical drag physcic medium to the masses! This performance installation was part of a large outdoor festival, Moira usually performed within a more intimate setting, but with the set dressing and AV design, it really thrived in this performance context with a large crowd. It was an absolute hit.
