Collaboration with local engineers, manufacturers & aerialists made this vision come to life. Once it was up and running audiences were drawn to it like moths, and it became a gathering point for thousands of people at this iconic light festival.
This project began when the festival director approached us, and asked if we could create “a giant light bulb activated by some form of performance”. And so began a very complicated journey to pull of a rather eleborate piece! We love this sort of origin story!
