We chose to perform an Aerial Silk duet, which including a gentle moment where both performers performed choreography together on a single strand of aerial silk.
This was a particularly interesting project as it was the first time we digitally printed costumes but it was a world first collaboration to digitally print on aerial fabric. Shout out to the printers for dealing with a tricky fabric type… oh and sheer quantity of it.
This project would have to have one of our favourite briefs to date – it was so specific! The event wanted a captivating performance, performed to ‘The Prayer’ by Celine Dion covered by Andrea Bocelli. The piece also needed to incorporate the tropical Quetzal bird with it’s iconic plumage and long tail feathers.
