We kicked things off with an Aerial Disco Ball installation in the center of the room, and a soundtrack of pumping with Disco classics. Then, a high energy, sassy Hula Hoop act which got the whole room clapping to the beat! & finally, a show stopping Aerial Silk performance accompanied by two incredible dancers (aka Human Disco Balls)! A key focus for us was to bring energy to everyone in this large events space, so we placed much of our mahi in the center of the room.
The theme for the night was ‘Shine Bright’ and our brief was to bring energy to the room, so we thought… Disco! This was the inaugural Gala Dinner and fundraiser for the Barnados Foundation – Aotearoa’s largest children’s charity.
